A Wilderer cabin holiday in Leutasch is not what you find on booking platforms under “chalet”. No sterile high-gloss boxes with designer pretensions. Instead, three rock-solid cabins built from Tyrolean wood, at the forest's edge, in the quietest corner of the Leutasch valley. Inside: gas fireplace, loden, honest materials. Outside: the forest right there, and behind it the Hohe Munde.
What you won't find: a breakfast buffet, a lobby, queues, hotel staff rushing through your weekend. What you will find: a fully equipped kitchen, a private sauna (Steinadler), a fenced garden (Rothirsch, Gamsbock), dogs welcome. Gas fireplace at the push of a button
In every cabin. On at the push of a button, warm in 30 seconds. No fetching wood, no ash, no lighting a fire in the snow – just warmth and the look of flames whenever you want it.
Private sauna (Steinadler)
Only in the Steinadler cabin – but there it's truly private. No waiting, no other users.
Fenced garden
Rothirsch and Gamsbock. Children can be outside, the dog can be off the lead, without anyone getting nervous at the fence.
Fully equipped kitchen
Self-catering, our way: oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, pans, tableware for 8, spices, sharp knives. You need to bring nothing but groceries.
Right at the forest's edge
No neighbours in sight. The nearest windows are those of the other two Wilderer cabins – and even those are far enough away.
Dogs welcome
All three cabins are dog-friendly. The surcharge is modest, and the fenced garden at two of the three cabins is free.

From the terrace and the living area. Lush green in summer, white all the way down into the valley in winter.
Cross-country trails at your door
In winter the groomed trails start 100 metres from the house. Seefeld Olympic region – a 270 km trail network.

A cabin holiday all year round
Summer · June – October
Hiking straight from the doorstep, mountain bike trails through the Wetterstein mountains, swimming in the Wildsee and Möserer See, the Geisterklamm via ferrata for the kids. In the evening, a barbecue in the fenced garden, stars over the forest.
Winter · December – March
Seefeld Olympic region – 270 km of cross-country trails, the Rosshütte and Gschwandtkopf ski areas within 10 minutes. Snowshoeing straight from the cabin. In the evening, the sauna in the Steinadler, a gas fireplace in every cabin.

Yes. Dogs are welcome in all three cabins Rothirsch, Gamsbock and Steinadler. Rothirsch and Gamsbock even have a fenced garden – ideal so the dog can be off the lead. Please state the dog when booking.
Very much so. With 155 m² of living space, four bedrooms and three bathrooms, each cabin offers plenty of room for families. The fenced garden at Rothirsch and Gamsbock makes it safe for toddlers to romp around. Baby equipment (high chair, cot) on request.
There's no bad time – Leutasch works all year round. Summer (June–September): hiking, mountain biking, swimming in the Möserer See. Winter (December–March): cross-country skiing right at the door, skiing in Seefeld, snowshoeing. Spring and autumn are the quietest and most affordable weeks.
Self-catering. Each cabin has a fully equipped kitchen – oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, everything you need. For breakfast you can pick up bread from the local bakery or cold cuts and cheese from the Hukl farm shop right in the village.
Couples or two people: Wilderer Apartment or Landhaus Moritz. Small family with a dog: Cabin Rothirsch (garden + quietest location). Larger family / group wanting wellness: Cabin Steinadler (with its own sauna). Group focused on the view: Cabin Gamsbock (mountain panorama).
By car: A12 / Inntal motorway, Telfs or Zirl exit, then up over Seefeld to Leutasch-Weidach (about 1 hour from Innsbruck Airport). By train: to Seefeld in Tyrol, then bus or taxi (about 15 min) to Leutasch. Detailed directions on our location page.
