Wilderer Hof: new apartments taking shape in Leutasch

In Weidach in Leutasch, just a few houses from our chalets, something new is taking shape: the Wilderer Hof in Leutasch. An existing building is being turned into the fourth house of the Wilderer brand – with seven to nine apartments, run by Wilderer Chalets Tirol GmbH, the very same family behind the chalets. The Hof isn't finished yet, and it can't be booked yet. But since many of our guests ask what's happening over in Weidach, here's an honest account of what's planned – and what we're deliberately leaving open.

A house that's already standing

The Wilderer Hof is not a new build on a green field. It's a building that already stands and is currently being converted. Seven to nine apartments are being created from the existing structure – the exact number depends on the conversion and isn't fixed yet. We like this approach: continuing to build on a house that's already part of Weidach, rather than putting something entirely new next to it. It fits the idea behind the Wilderer houses – Tyrolean substance, quietly carried forward.

Weidach – the same location as the chalets

The Hof stands in Weidach (Weidach 374b), just a few houses from the Wilderer Chalets (Weidach 374f). That means the same location our guests value. Leutasch sits at just over 1,100 metres in the Seefeld Olympic region, surrounded by the Wetterstein mountains and the Hohe Munde. Innsbruck is about 30 minutes away by car, and cross-country trails and hiking paths begin practically at the doorstep. You'll find more about getting here on our location & arrival page. Anyone who has been to Leutasch knows why there are four Wilderer houses here and not somewhere else.

What this means for Wilderer Chalets guests

Honestly: nothing changes for you right now. The Wilderer Hof can't be booked, and we deliberately won't name an opening date until one is set. What remains bookable are our three chalets Rothirsch, Gamsbock and Steinadler, the Wilderer Apartment and Landhaus Moritz. When there's news

We'll say it as soon as it can honestly be said. There's no date, no floor plans and no prices yet – and we're not guessing any of them here.
